In connection with the savage killings of four University of Idaho students in their off-campus residence last month, which shook a small college town, a graduate student at Washington State University was apprehended on Friday in his home state of Pennsylvania.
Bryan Kohberger, 28, is accused of four charges of first-degree murder and felony burglary in a criminal complaint that was filed on Thursday, according to Latah County Prosecutor Bill Thompson, who spoke at a news conference on Friday in Idaho.
Two law enforcement sources briefed on the inquiry said that after determining Kohberger’s ownership of a white Hyundai Elantra observed in the vicinity of the killings, authorities focused more intently on him. In addition, genetic evidence found at the off-campus home where the students were fatally stabbed has been matched with Kohberger’s DNA, the sources claim.
Another law enforcement source claims that the guy drove the white automobile across the nation to his parents’ home.
